Grip-Rite® Eave & Valley Protector is a 53-mil thick, self-adhesive ice and water barrier designed to safeguard critical roof areas from damage caused by ice dams, wind-driven rain, and water infiltration. Reinforced with a durable glass mat and elastomeric bitumen, this membrane is commonly installed along eaves, valleys, roof edges, and around penetrations like chimneys, skylights, and vents. With a split-back release sheet and non-slip sanded surface, it’s easy to install and offers long-lasting, secondary protection beneath shingles. It can also be used as a full-roof underlayment for maximum moisture defense when paired with other Grip-Rite products.
